About Us

AIDA NSW is the state branch of the Australian Irish Dancing Association.
It is made up of qualified teachers registered with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, Dublin.
This international organisation was established in the 1930s to set standards for teaching and later adjudicating. It also publishes a handbook of Ceili dances as well as overseeing competitons also known as feisannas.
This includes the Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne – The World Irish Dancing Championships.
